    High School Teen Sports Nutrition

   Enhancing Your Personal or Team’s Athletic Performance


DSC_0701Teen athletes spend numerous hours training their bodies physically. However, most of them have spent very little time learning how to fuel their 
bodies effectively to maximize this training for peak performance.
 

 

Coaches, give your athletes The Edge this season! Your team will leam how to fuel their bodies to maximize their performance. Balanced nutrition will help sharpen their minds, strengthen their muscles, balance their blood sugar and provide greater endurance.

 

A healthy sports diet isn’t that difficult to achieve. We'll teach your athletes how to optimize their overall health and their game. As a coach, you can help your team reach higher physical demands and help protect them against injury by incorporating sports nutrition into your training plan. Whether you commit to one session, or several, your team will learn to think before they eat, as well as understand how certain foods can help, or hurt them.

The Edge Teen Sports Nutrition Series

Choose as many as your team needs from any of 5 different half-hour long workshops. Workshops are sport specific.

 



1. Basic Nutrition for Teen Athletes - Pre-game, 

    Post-game, Tournament Eating and Hydration  
                                      

           

2. Teen Brain Nutrition / Effects of Sugar and 

    Caffeine / Amino Acids / Brain in the Game
   
     
            

3. Off-season Nutrition/Nutrition for Your Specific Sport 
   

             

4. Restaurant and School Eating / Healthy Snacks / Eating 

    at Home

          

                   

5. Help for Sore Muscles and Inflammation / Deep 

    Breathing and Visualization To Get In The Zone

Includes Sports Eating Guide and handout

 

Workshop location: Scheduled at your high school or club team office.
